An illustration taken from a drawing in my sketchbook and which declines the themes I love, on a linocut print/screenprint way in three versions. As always, you can find it here.
A same illustration in three versions… I played around with colors palette, going a little bit outside my comfort zone, but it’s a good thing sometimes to do so, isn’t it?
You can find these three in my Redbubble shop, here.
It wasn’t my intention, but I especially love the top duo… I’m happy with how this design looks on object : have a look!
And as often, it all began with a page in my sketchbook :
Here is an illustration taken from a drawing made some time ago. I’m rediscovering the treasures contained in my sketchbooks and reworking them into illustration. I have a special fondness for this one!
Et le dessin dans mon sketchbook….
Yes, I could have titled this illustration with The Cat And The Bird, but for some reason, it is The Cat And The Yellow Flower! Anyway, this is a new illustration you can now find on my Redbubble shop. It is an illustration taken from one of the pages of my sketchbook and I especially love it because I translated the drawing in a screen printing effect digitally. And I have a special love towards everything that is screen printing! You can find it here.
After taking Nate Padawick’s class (the co-founder, along with his sister Salli Swindell, of the mapmaking community website called They Draw & Travel) at Sketchbook Skool, I’ve decided to give this project of mapping a try with my own town : Neuchâtel. And I loved it! It’s such a fun way to think about your home town! It would not surprise me that this would be the first, but not the last map I draw. If you want to be able to see more details, go here. You can find it in my Redbubble’s shop.
By the way, as we are at the beginning of summer and as many of you will go on holiday, I invite you to go have a look on They Draw & Travel to see if there is not a map about your destination. These maps, if they do not always allow to find ones way, give on the other hand an engaging overview and are very friendly.
Beautiful summer to each of you!
